How It All Began
Built on a partnership. Driven by a shared idea.
Kord Cybersecurity began with a working partnership. Between 2016 and 2018, founders Jordan Gall and Tim Proudlock met while representing different companies on projects for businesses connected by the same private equity firm.
Jordan brought deep technical and cybersecurity expertise; Tim brought commercial and operational experience. They shared a simple belief: technology should make organisations stronger, not more complicated.
The partnership extended beyond client work. During music sessions, with Jordan on drums and Tim on guitar, conversations often turned to technology, risk and the challenges facing business leaders. Those discussions helped shape the idea for Kord, which became a reality in 2019.
What began as hands-on consultancy has evolved into a managed cybersecurity partner for growing businesses, with people at the heart of the service.

Co-founder
Jordan leads Kord's business and cybersecurity service delivery. With more than 15 years of technology experience, he combines expertise in networking and cybersecurity with an understanding of how organisations operate.
Known for cutting through technical complexity, he focuses on finding practical, effective solutions for clients at every level of a business.
Beyond cybersecurity: technology, science and space, plus tennis and playing the drums.
Tim Proudlock
Co-founder
Tim brings more than 20 years of experience in Asia, spanning financial services, technology, operations and entrepreneurship. He connects commercial priorities with practical execution and helps growing businesses turn ideas into sustainable operations.
He is a committed mentor and advocate for diversity and inclusion, with a strong interest in helping people and organisations develop.
Beyond business: trail running and triathlons, often combined with fundraising for charitable causes.
